Lu Kesi

The artist Lu Kesi 魯可思 lives in a small, but comfortable cave on an uncharted island in the middle of the western ocean. For his own amusement he paints in Chinese style ink and color on paper, carves Chinese style chops/seals, and practices Chinese calligraphy. He enjoys copying from memory the paintings of old friends long gone—by copying their energy they seem closer in spirit.
